Vaina Gauthier

《胶囊计划》中《辰光恰恰好》的逐帧动画画师。 Vaiana Gauthier was born in 1988 in Grasse. She studied animation at Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et du Textile ( DMA Cinéma d'Animation ESAAT) in Roubaix, and continued her studies in Ecole des Métiers du Cinéma d'Animation (EMCA) in Angoulême, graduating in 2012. There she directed " Allister" (2011), "Mailles/Knitted" (2012), "Eros" (2012), special jury mention at Monstra film festival (Portugal). In 2013, she spent three months in the residency of La Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême. She directed the music video "Marina" in 2014 and co-directed the short film "Hoja/Leaf" in 2016 with Dante Zaballa, both self-produced, and worked as an animator and decorator. In 2016 she entered L'école de La Poudrière, in Valence, specializing in animation film directing. Her graduation film "Premiers contacts/First contacts" (2018) is selected in many international festivals such as Cinanima (Portugal), OIAF (Canada), Animateka (Slovénia). After graduating she wrote her first professional short film "Sentinelle/Sentinel" and participated in residency program Projectiles at La Fabrique in Saint-Laurent-le Minier in 2019, and the international artist residency program of NEF Animation in Royal Abbey of Fontevraud in 2020. The project is backed by the writing grant Fonds d’Aide à l’Innovation (FAIA) of CNC and in 2021 by the FAIA CNC development grant and produced by Iliade and Films and Barberousse Films. Vaiana Gauthier is also currently writing and developing the animated music video project "Perennials" with American singer-songwriter Erica Russo.
