Dorothée Van Den Berghe(Gent,28 november1969) is a Begian filmmaker and screenwriter, known forBrussels Midnight (1998), Meisje (2002),My Queen Karo (2009), and Rosie and Moussa (2018). Her feature film Meisje was nominated for the Golden Leopard at the Locarno International Film Festival in 2002 and won Youth Jury Award and C.I.C.A.E. Award. During the same year, this movie also received Special Jury Award at the International Film Festival of Amiens. Her latest movie Rosie and Moussa won Best Children's Filmat CinekidFestival, the largest international film, television and new media festival for children aged 4 to 14.
