When Katherine was little, dreams for her future were split between being a star basketball player in the WNBA and "the voice of the Disney characters". After a terrible bout of heat stroke while at sports training camp she decided on the latter. An Ontario native, Katherine is an actor, producer and most recently a director. She studied at the prestigious George Brown Classical Theatre School and fell in love with the intricacy of film acting soon after graduation. She has appeared in numerous television shows in both Canada and the USA. She has a strong love for comedy performance and studied improvisation at the famous Groundlings Comedy School in California. She plays sorority dictator, Jacqueline Gill, in The Scarehouse, which was released by Universal Pictures across North America in 2015. Katherine just completed filming on Definition of Fear with Oscar winning producer Christopher Branch, starring along side Bollywood superstar Jacqueline Fernandez. On the other side of the camera Katherine had produced 6 short films. Most notably her comedy short, Issues, was named one of the top three short films of 2013 by Television critic Richard Crouse. She developed Issues into a television show that was optioned by Edyson Entertainment. She is adapting her most recent short, Mature Young Adults, into a feature film. Katherine's newest love is directing, finding it the perfect marriage between her acting roots and producer brain. She directed her first short film, Cannonball, at the beginning of 2015 and in is pre-production for her next project, Dissecting Gwen, which films in November 2015.
