Alice Zhang, AKA Zhang Hengyue / Zhang Lanyu, is an independent film director, independent documentary director, screenwriter, graduated from Academy of Art University in a degree of M.A. Writing & Directing for Film. Nominee of 2022 Indie Filmmaker Awards: Best Female Director Short Film. Before working in the film industry, Alice Zhang earned a degree of M.S. Meteorology & Climate Science from San Jose State University, with years of working experiences as a scientific researcher. Returned to hometown after living in San Francisco for more than a decade, Alice Zhang is now based in Nanjing, while left her heart in San Francisco.
