Josefin Ljungman Sofia Isabelle, born 26 December 1981 in Gothenburg, is a Swedish actress. Josefin Ljungman was educated at the Skara School Scene. She has appeared in productions at Backa Theatre in Gothenburg, the National Theatre and Royal Dramatic Theatre. The breakthrough came in 2008 when she played Hedwig in the Stockholm City Theatre in Henrik Ibsen's The Wild Duck, directed by Thommy Berggren. For this role she received Såstaholms price to Höstsols memory. She starred in 2007 film Hata Göteborg as an esthete girl Nora, and in 2008 she played in the Norwegian feature film Fatso. In autumn 2009 she took a break from acting and went to Paris to study and paint. She was unsure if she wanted to continue as an actor, but the following year, she decided to return to the limelight. That year, she starred in the critically acclaimed drama film Blue Skies and the horror movie Psalm 21 in which she starred with, among others, Jonas Malmsjö, directed by Fredrik Hiller. In the upcoming drama I love no one she plays herself.
