From 2006 to 2008, Bauer was a member in the youth club of the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden, Germany. [2] She then completed her acting studies at the Academy of Dramatic Arts "Ernst Busch" Berlin, where she graduated, 2012. During her study time farmer was seen at various theaters in Berlin as a guest, among other things, the Schaubühne place in Leo Tolstoy's The Power of Darkness, directed by Michael Thalheimer. The staging of the play heroes of Ewald Palmetshofer asked the Studio Theatre under the direction of A. During her studies she made her debut in 2010 Andi Roe Hagen turned movie Ein Tick anders, where she plays the role of suffering from Tourette's syndrome adolescents Eve. For this work she was awarded the 2011 Newcomer Award of the Film Art Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and 2012 with the New Faces Award. Also in 2010, she was in Wolfgang Dinslages Feature Fur Elise play the main role. 2011 Bauer received starring roles in two other films: In Christian Petzold's award-winning drama DDR Barbara, she played along side Nina Hoss and Ronald Zehrfeld. Directed by Bettina Blümner she played the main character in the film adaptation Scherbenpark by Alina Bronskys's novel. 2012 followed by the first filming for German TV. In Kai Wessels miniseries time of heroes Bauer was hired for one of the lead roles and ensemble playing on the side of Inka Friedrich, Oliver Stokowski and Julia Hunter. [3] Since October 2011, Bauer has as patron of the German Tourette society eV. She lives in Berlin and Vienna.
