艾伦•贝内特（Alan Bennett），1934年生，英国家喻户晓的剧作家、小说家。主要剧作包括《往事四十年》《乔治三世的疯狂》《历史男孩》等，职业生涯包揽多项戏剧大奖，其中《历史男孩》赢得七项艾美奖，为英国国家剧院演出史上最成功剧作。1988年贝内特拒绝伊丽莎白二世女王授予的英帝国二等勋位（CBE），1996年再次拒绝女王赐予的knighthood爵士爵位。
