She is an eminent advisor to the UNDP, and has worked with the World Bank, the IMF, and the China Banking Regulatory Commission on fintech in the past. Jin was born and raised in Beijing, China, and attended high school and college in the United States. She holds a BA, MA, and PhD in economics from Harvard University, and resides in Beijing and London.
