伊芙琳·内丝：美国著名儿童文学家、插画家。1911年4月出生在美国俄亥俄州联合市，毕业于芝加哥艺术学院。毕业后，她还在考克兰艺术设计学院和罗马的美术研究院进修过。伊芙琳?内丝曾从事商业艺术设计，并获得了巨大的成功。1961年出版名为《桥》的儿童读物，从此开始了童书创作生涯。内丝一生为孩子创作了五十多部图书，且屡获大奖，1963年至1965年，以作品《清晨的一切》《满满一袋蟋蟀》和《汤滴豆》连续三年荣获凯迪克银奖。《莎莎的月光》是内丝最具代表性的杰作，为她赢得了美国绘本最高奖——凯迪克金奖。
