研究领域
低维量子材料以其丰富的物理和新奇的量子现象,成为凝聚态物理的重要研究方向。研究聚焦于新型的二维材料(例如石墨烯、新型过渡金属硫族化合物新成员PtSe_2等)以及各种由不同层状材料组成的人工复合异质结构(例如石墨烯/氮化硼、拓扑绝缘体/高温超导体等)。利用多种尖端电子能谱技术,研究量子尺寸效应对电子结构、自旋结构、能隙调控的影响,以及异质界面处的耦合和近邻效应。通过测量量子材料处于平衡态(静态)和非平衡态(动态)的电子结构,可以直接获得电子能量、动量、自旋以及时间等多维信息,探索与材料特性直接相关的物理机制。
主要的实验技术包括:
1、角分辨光电子谱(ARPES)、自旋分辨角分辨光电子能谱(Spin-ARPES)等
2、基于激光光源的超快时间(~200飞秒)分辨的角分辨光电子谱
3、共振射线X散射(RXS)和超快时间分辨的共振X射线散射(tr-RXS)
4、其它基于同步辐射光源的技术,如X射线吸收谱(XAS)、光发射电子显微镜(PEEM)、非弹性X射线散射(IXS)等
