　　The mayor feels responsible for the depopulated village, whereas his wife spends her time embroidering and waiting for the return of their missing son from the army. A visually sophisticated parable about people for whom time has stopped, who hold onto their resigned way of life; they have found their own way to come to terms with family tragedy.
